YOUNG RMS PRESENTS DISNEY’S ALICE IN WONDERLAND JR
Fall down the rabbit hole with Alice as she navigates the curious world of Wonderland on a journey of self-discovery.
When young Alice finds herself in a strange world where everything seems upside down, she must find her way home…and find herself along the way. As she travels through Wonderland, she encounters all of the iconic characters that audiences have come to love: including the ever-tardy White Rabbit, the grinning Cheshire Cat, a cool Caterpillar, the wacky Mad Hatter, and the hot-tempered Queen of Hearts.
Alice in Wonderland JR. features Disney favorites such as “The Golden Afternoon,” “The Unbirthday Song,” and “Painting the Roses Red” including music from the 2010 live-action film. Whether this is your first experience with Alice or your hundredth, you’ll fall in love all over again with this timeless story of adventure, imagination, and pure fun!

What is Young RMS?
Young RMS is the youth division of the Riverland Musical Society, dedicated to nurturing the talents of young performers aged 7 to 17 across the Riverland region. Through engaging musical theatre productions, Young RMS offers children and teens the opportunity to develop their skills in singing, acting, and dancing, while fostering confidence, teamwork, and a love for the performing arts.
Over the past decade, Young RMS has brought to life a variety of beloved musicals, including Annie Jr., Frozen Jr., and the original production Bedtime Stories, which celebrated the program's 10-year legacy. These performances not only showcase the incredible talent of young local artists but also provide them with invaluable stage experience in a supportive and creative environment.
Rehearsals and shows typically take placeat the Bonney Theatre in Barmera. The program is run in Term 1 with productions staged during school holidays to accommodate young performers' schedules. Whether your child is an aspiring star or simply looking to explore the world of theatre, Young RMS offers a welcoming platform to grow and shine.
